Overview

Brian focuses his practice on corporate and transactional law, advising emerging growth companies and their investors on formation, financings, exits, and corporate governance. He also represents clients in domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, counseling sellers, buyers and private equity sponsors across a wide range of industries such as technology, healthcare, manufacturing, food and beverage, agribusiness, financial services, and natural resources. Drawing on his academic and professional background in technology and business administration, Brian provides pragmatic guidance to startups, founders, and investors navigating complex business and legal challenges.

Before rejoining Stoel Rives, Brian practiced at an Am Law 50 firm, where he was a member of its technology companies group and advised startups, venture capital firms and strategic investors on a range of corporate and transactional matters in the technology and life sciences sectors.
