Overview
Audrey Scholer advises employers on a broad range of workplace issues and represents them in employment-related disputes before state and federal agencies. Her practice includes guidance on discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and protected leave, as well as compliance counseling. Audrey also assists with drafting and reviewing employee handbooks and policies to help employers minimize risk and maintain best practices.

Employment Advice and Litigation
- Successfully defended clients against charges of discrimination and retaliation before the Idaho Human Rights Commission, Oregon Bureau of Labor and Industries, and Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
- Assisted in successful summary judgment in state court on negligence claim against employer.
- Regularly investigate employee complaints regarding sexual harassment, retaliation, discrimination, and failure to accommodate.
- Counsel employers on compliance with various state and federal laws including ADA, FMLA, Title VII, and the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act.
- Provide guidance for complex employment decisions including employee separations, performance management, and company reorganizations.
