About Andrew

Andrew Ho is an associate in the firm’s Litigation group, where he represents clients in civil litigation and criminal proceedings. On the civil side, Andrew’s practice focuses on commercial litigation and includes matters involving contracts, trade secrets, corporate governance, real property, and class actions. Andrew also has experience with defense of criminal matters, including investigations and prosecutions under environmental statutes as well as wire fraud and money laundering matters.

Prior to joining Stoel Rives, Andrew was an associate at Mayer Brown LLP in Palo Alto, where he was in the Tax Controversy group (2015–2017).

  • Represent electric distribution cooperative in dispute regarding rates charged by generation and transmission cooperatives.
  • Represent software company in case involving trade secret misappropriation, copyright infringement, and breach of employment agreements.
  • Assisted in the defense of former plant manager of an aluminum extrusion company charged with Major Fraud Against the United States for altering the test results of parts incorporated into NASA and Missile Defense Agency rockets, resulting in complete acquittal on all charges.
  • Secured favorable result in arbitration for utility involving joint venture accounting.
  • Represented technology company in LiDAR/autonomous vehicle space in trade secret dispute involving photoreceiver technology.
  • Assist on multiple condemnation and real property litigation matters.
  • Represented clients in all phases of tax controversy, including examinations, administrative appeals, and litigation in U.S. Tax Court and federal district court.
  • Assisted in IRS field investigations, witness interviews, document requests, and resolution meetings.
