Weekly Highlights

California Public Utilities Commission

Public Utilities Commission has issued a letter to Pacific Gas and Electric Company, putting PG&E on notice that the Commission is evaluating whether to place it under an enhanced oversight and enforcement process, due to continued vegetation management failures.

California Independent System Operator

A CAISO Department of Market Monitoring report has found no evidence that market manipulation contributed to the August blackouts, “contrary to some suggestions in the media.”
