Weekly Highlights

Minnesota Public Utilities Commission

On December 17, 2020, the Minnesota Public Utilities Commission (“Commission”) approved the Stay-Out petition filed by Northern States Power Company dba Xcel Energy (“Xcel”), allowing Xcel to withdraw its 2020 Rate Case and collect additional revenue through the use of various true-up mechanisms. Xcel withdrew its 2019 Rate Case after the Commission approved a similar arrangement last year.
