Our energy regulatory team has compiled a list of state and federal energy regulatory developments to keep you up to speed on key energy regulatory matters from across the United States. Stoel’s energy regulatory team is always available to answer questions about any of these developments. Energy regulatory highlights for this week include:

California Independent System Operator

The Board of Governors for the California ISO held a special meeting today to discuss challenges related to recent extreme temperatures in California, and load outages that occurred Friday and Saturday. The California ISO stated that it was unlikely to meet gross or net peak load today, and that the load forecast for tomorrow is even higher.
