Puget Sound Business Journal Quotes Tim O'Connell About Fallout from Boeing Union Vote

Partner Tim O'Connell was quoted in the Puget Sound Business Journal in an article titled "Union members seek a 'do-over.'" The article discusses the January 3 vote by Boeing's biggest union to secure the 777X project in exchange for a labor contract that many workers are not happy with. Disgruntled union members have filed eight complaints with the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) over the vote.

O'Connell evaluated the impact of the complaints as "a very low-risk threat," and said he does not think the NLRB is likely to interfere. "The union has a lot of discretion about how to represent that local bargaining unit fairly."
