Stoel Rives’ attorney Brian Larsen was quoted in Idaho Business Review in an article titled “Data security experts: you need to stay ahead of fraudsters.” The article discusses the challenges companies face now and in the future in securing their data and otherwise protecting themselves from fraud. Larsen and Stoel Rives' attorney Brad Dixon recently participated as panelists at Zions Bank’s Fighting Fraud conference on June 5, 2015.
Larsen said that companies need to be careful of who they hire and entrust with sensitive information to prevent physical theft or insider misuse of information. "While you obviously want to treat all of your employees with incredible respect, also treat your employees as though they carry the full value of your company within them," he counseled.
