Client Spotlight: Stoel Rives Represents Tenute del Mondo in Acquisition of 50% Stake in Chateau Miraval

PORTLAND, Ore. — Stoel Rives represented Tenute del Mondo in its acquisition of a 50% stake of Chateau Miraval, and the Miraval brand, from Angelina Jolie. Tenute del Mondo, co-owner (with the Frescobaldi Family) of iconic wines such as Masseto, Ornellaia, Luce, and CastelGiocondo, and owner of iconic Achaval Ferrer and Arínzano wines, is a subsidiary of Stoli Group, the leading global ultra-premium spirits and wine company.

Portland-based winery partner Chris Hermann and Sacramento-based partner Chris Russell led the transaction for this Netherlands-based client.
