Client Spotlight: Stoel Rives Represents Arevon Energy, Inc., in Securing $400 Million Green Loan Fund to Finance Solar and Storage Projects

PORTLAND, Ore.—Stoel Rives, an AmLaw 200 firm, represented leading renewable energy company Arevon Energy, Inc., in securing a $400 million green loan fund credit facility from Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC) and KeyBank N.A., which will be used to finance the development of solar and storage projects totaling 6 GW in the Midwest, Southeast, and California.

The Stoel Rives legal team advising Arevon in obtaining the financing was led by partner Erica Valli and included Megan Chang and Alex Mertens.

The loan marks the one-year anniversary of the founding of Arevon, which provides commercial, financial, performance asset management, and construction services to nearly 10 GWac of utility-scale wind, solar, and energy storage assets.
