Stoel Rives LLP congratulates firm client Solar Frontier Americas (SFA) on closing the tax equity commitment and debt financing for its 210 MWp Mustang Two solar project in Kings County, California. SFA will own and operate the project, which is scheduled to begin commercial operation in 2020 and will provide power to 37,500 homes in San Mateo County and the Modesto Irrigation District.
Solar Frontier Americas, the U.S.-based renewable energy business of Idemitsu Kosan Co., Ltd, is an independent power producer and solar development company that acquires, develops, owns and operates solar power generation plants. The Mustang Two project, the company’s largest project and financing to date, is part of a portfolio of more than 1 GW of utility-scale projects.
