Stoel Rives LLP congratulates its client Eolus Vind AB (Sweden) on its recent acquisition, through subsidiary Eolus North America, Inc. (“Eolus”), of 60 percent of the membership interests in Wind Wall Development LLC (“Wind Wall”) from ZCF Wind Wall, LLC (“ZCF”).
In a joint venture, Eolus and ZCF, through Wind Wall, are developing and plan to construct a wind project near Tehachapi, CA, with an installed nameplate capacity of approximately 40 MW. Eolus Vind AB is one of the leading wind power developers in Sweden and has constructed some 500 of the approximately 3,300 wind turbines operating in the country.
Partners Chad Marriott and Morten Lund led the deal team, which also included partners Jason Johns, Jennifer Martin, Kevin Pearson, Allison Smith, Sylvia Arostegui and Gene Frassetto, and associates Kate D’Ambrosio and Zeeshan Malik.
