Stoel Rives partner Vanessa Power was quoted by the Associated Press in a wire story titled "Advocates seek to reverse 30-day rape sentence of Billings teacher." The story discusses efforts by women's advocacy groups to overturn a 30-day rape sentence of a former high school teacher convicted of raping a 14-year-old student as unlawfully lenient.

A Stoel Rives team led by Power is representing six pro bono clients in an amicus brief in the Montana Supreme Court: Legal Voice, Legal Momentum (formerly the NOW Legal Defense and Education Fund), the Sexual Violence Law Center, the Law Women's Project, Montana NOW, and Pennsylvania NOW. The Stoel Rives team includes Will Eidson, Alyson Palmer, Kiran Griffith, Kara Morse, and Rebecca Gobeille.
