My name is Monica Browner and I’m an attorney here at Stoel Rives. I’ve been practicing law for about six years now and I focus on site contamination work, hazardous materials regulations and air quality.
So one area where I feel like Stoel Rives is really helping me in my career is the trainings that they encourage us to do. So they do a lot of kind of one-off lunch trainings that are really helpful for associates in particular, but they also put on some longer, you know, more one or two day intensive trainings. And as an example, I’m actually going up to our Portland office later this summer for a training in negotiation, which is really helpful for what I do because I’m constantly communicating and negotiating with regulatory agencies on behalf of my clients.
