Attorneys will add to firm’s Alaska bench in commercial and environmental litigation.

Anchorage, AK Stoel Rives LLP is pleased to announce the addition of two associate attorneys who will strengthen the service the firm offers its clients in Alaska – Bryn Pallesen has joined the Litigation group in the Anchorage, Alaska, office, and James Feldman has joined the Environment, Land Use and Natural Resources group and will be based in the Seattle, Washington, office.

“The experience Bryn and James add to our capabilities in commercial and environmental litigation and addressing regulatory issues in Alaska will be a real advantage for our clients,” said Anchorage Office Managing Partner Tina Grovier. “We expect the two will quickly have an effective and lasting impact in expanding the litigation services we can offer our Alaska clients.”

Pallesen has experience in antitrust and complex commercial litigation, including antitrust “product hopping” and reverse payment cases proceeding in federal court and consumer protection cases proceeding as multidistrict litigation in federal court. She received her law degree, cum laude, from the University of Michigan Law School and her undergraduate degree from Amherst College and is admitted to the bar in Alaska and New York. From 2015 to 2018, Pallesen was a law clerk for the Honorable Timothy M. Burgess of the U.S. District Court for the District of Alaska. Prior to that, she was an associate in the New York office of White & Case, LLP.

Feldman draws upon his federal, state, and local government experience to help Alaska clients navigate and solve complicated environmental litigation, enforcement, and regulatory issues. He received his law degree from the University of Washington School of Law and his undergraduate degree from Brown University. Feldman was a law clerk for Judge Burgess in 2016 and 2017 and before attending law school served as a legislative assistant to U.S. Senator Mark Begich (Alaska). He also clerked for the Honorable Judge Ronald B Leighton of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington.
