Leading real estate attorney recognized among industry peers

SEATTLE Stoel Rives LLP is pleased to announce that the Puget Sound Business Journal has honored partner Joe Delaney as the Commercial Real Estate (CRE) Attorney of the Year in its inaugural CRE Leadership Awards. Seattle’s commercial real estate market is booming, and the publication initiated the award program to honor the leaders behind the industry’s success, including developers, architects, brokers, attorneys, bankers and lenders.

Delaney is a partner in Stoel Rives’ real estate industry group, a powerhouse of more than 60 highly skilled attorneys who provide legal counsel to real estate owners, developers, contractors, investors, tenants, and lenders, as well as architects, engineers and suppliers. Delaney has more than 30 years’ experience focused on commercial real estate sales, leasing, and financing transactions of commercial office, residential, and mixed-use projects. He has represented buyers and sellers in $5 billion worth of commercial real estate transactions since 2012.

Delaney has been recognized by Chambers USA as a leader in real estate law and has been honored among the Best Lawyers in America. He holds a bachelor’s degree from University of Vermont and a law degree from Georgetown University Law Center.

The winners of the CRE Leadership Awards will be celebrated during an awards luncheon at the Hyatt Regency Seattle on Aug. 16. For more information, visit The Puget Sound Business Journal.
