About Steven

Steven Hull is a partner of the firm’s Corporate Group. For over two decades, he has helped public and private companies, investors and individuals achieve their strategic business goals in various types of sophisticated corporate transactions. Steven is recognized in Chambers USA and Best Lawyers in America® for his skill in mergers and acquisitions and corporate law. He has extensive experience working on deals involving private equity firms, including minority investments. He regularly represents investors and public and private companies in financing transactions and securities law matters.

Mergers & Acquisitions 

Steven regularly represents buyers, sellers, and institutional investors in many different types of M&A transactions, strategic investments, and joint ventures, including representing owners of privately held companies in connection with the sale of their businesses.

Venture Capital

Steven represents both investors and companies in connection with venture capital financings, from early stage to late stage, including advising on deal terms and securities law matters.

Securities Regulation & Corporate Governance

Steven represents public companies in their ongoing compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements. In this capacity, he advises companies in the areas of SEC periodic reporting, trading and disclosure practices, proxy regulation, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, stock exchange listing requirements, investor relations and corporate governance matters.

Executive Compensation

Steven represents both employers and executives with respect to executive compensation matters, including employment, incentive, change-in-control, and severance agreements.
