has joined its Seattle office in the firm's Estate Planning practice. Wendy brings almost 20 years of experience counseling clients on estate planning issues.
Wendy's experience includes advising clients on matters including probate and trust administration, estate and gift taxation, charitable giving and nonprofit trusts and corporations, family-owned business succession and issues concerning unmarried couples.
A seasoned presenter, Wendy is a sought after speaker at local, regional and national events addressing a number of estate planning topics including marriage, domestic partnerships and civil unions, charitable planning, and trust management. She has also been interviewed by and written for many national publications including Forbes.com, Estate Planning Magazine, The New York Times and American Bar Association publications.
Wendy is actively engaged in the community. She is a former adjunct professor at Seattle University Law School and currently serves on a tax faculty committee to advise the IRS on same-sex community property tax issues. She has held and continues serve in various board and other leadership positions with organizations including the YWCA, Nature Conservancy, The Seattle Foundation, Jewish Women's Endowment Fund, Tacoma Art Museum, Woodland Park Zoo, Northwest Hospital, and the Children's Legacy Council of Children's Hospital Foundation.
Among Wendy's list of accolades and accomplishments includes being named a Fellow of The American College of Trust and Estate Counsel; and recognition in Washington Super Lawyers and in Best Lawyers in America.
