Barker is an associate in the Corporate practice group where he has experience in private and public securities offerings, mergers and acquisitions and general corporate governance issues. He received his J.D. magna cum laude from Notre Dame Law School (2000) and his B.A. from Lewis & Clark College (1994). Barker was formerly an associate in Stoel Rives' Portland office. He is admitted to the state bar of Oregon.

Brunz is Of Counsel in the firm's Corporate practice group where he counsels business entities and management on financing transactions, mergers and acquisitions, complex business relationships and general business matters. Before joining Stoel Rives, Brunz served as Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of The Cobalt Group, Inc., where he was responsible for all corporate legal matters concerning the company's corporate development, business development and financing activities. He received his L.L.M. from New York University School of Law (1996), his J.D. from the University of Oregon School of Law (1995) and his B.A. from Whitman College (1991). He is admitted to the state bar of Washington.

Carlsen is Of Counsel in the firm's Real Estate practice group. Her experience focuses on commercial real property and development matters and she assists clients with facility purchases, leases and construction. Carlsen received her J.D. from the University of Puget Sound (1984) and her B.A. from Scripps College (1982). Prior to joining Stoel Rives, she was a partner at Dorsey & Whitney LLP. She is admitted to the state bar of Washington.

Hines is also Of Counsel in the Real Estate practice group and has experience representing established and start-up clients in real estate development, internet technology and telecommunications. His practice focuses on real estate transactions including all aspects of real estate development (site feasibility, acquisition, land use/permitting, environmental matters, financing and leasing) but also includes intellectual property matters, mergers and acquisitions and various domestic and international commercial transactions. Before joining Stoel Rives, Hines had a solo real estate, corporate and intellectual property practice. He is admitted to the state bar of Washington.
