Stoel Rives Winery Clients Rated Among the Best in Washington and Oregon

9/20/2011

Several Stoel Rives winery clients recently received recognition as the "best of the best" in their home states of Washington and Oregon. In separate tests conducted by Seattle Met magazine and Portland Monthly magazine, 14 of our Washington winery clients and 11 of our Oregon winery clients made the grade, including Soter Vineyards, selected as No. 1 in Oregon for its 2008 Pinot Noir Mineral Springs, Yamhill-Carlton.

Seattle Met rated wines on a 100-point scale, with a 91-point cutoff to create the list of the 100 Best Washington Wines. Portland Monthly used a series of elimination rounds, based on fruit characteristics, acidity, alcohol, balance, tannins and overall quality, to establish its list of Oregon's 50 Best Wines.

Stoel Rives attorneys have advised wineries and vineyards for more than two decades, developing an extensive knowledge of the industry. We congratulate all our clients who received recognition.
