Steve Marinkovich is a partner with Propel Insurance, the largest privately held insurance brokerage firm in the Northwest. Steve graduated from the University of Washington in 1985 with a degree in Economics. In 1987 he graduated with a degree in Risk and Insurance from the College of Insurance in New York. Steve currently holds CPCU and ARM designations. Steve's practice includes providing property and casualty insurance to businesses throughout the United States. One of his clients is the largest fresh fruit and vegetable distributor in the Northwest.
Anne Glazer is a member in the Technology and Intellectual Property group at Stoel Rives LLP. She handles all aspects of trademark, copyright and trade secret matters, including asset development, risk management, protection strategies, registration, maintenance and conflicts. Anne handles all forms of intellectual property licensing, including trademarks, software and patents, and is well versed in entertainment law. Anne regularly advises on advertising compliance, labeling, contracts, licenses, franchising and other sales and trade regulation issues. Anne applies her expertise in intellectual property enforcement strategies and actions, dispute resolution, negotiations and settlement in coordination with the firm's trial attorneys. Anne provides counsel to start-up and emerging companies on initial intellectual property issues, strategies and the assembly of appropriate teams to meet all client needs. Anne received her law degree, with honors, from the University of Washington and her bachelor's degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Washington, Henry M. Jackson School of International Studies. She is admitted to the state bars of Oregon and Washington and can practice before the U.S. District Courts for the District of Oregon and the Western District of Washington and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
Ken Odza is a member of Stoel Rives LLP. He is a products liability lawyer who helps sustainable food and beverage companies reduce risk. Ken counsels clients of all sizes on issues related to recalls, insurance coverage, litigation prevention, crisis management, supplier agreements and product labeling. Ken is experienced in defending food-borne illness and consumer fraud claims. He has also been successful in recovering multimillion-dollar settlements and judgments from insurers and other responsible parties. Ken received his law degree, cum laude, from Cornell Law School and his bachelor's degree, cum laude, from the University of Rochester. He is admitted to practice in Washington, Alaska, Colorado and New York and before the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Washington and the District of Alaska and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
Peter Truitt and his brother, David, took over a cannery in Salem, Oregon and eventually formed Truitt Bros. Inc., which has always been more than just a food processor. They represent the third generation of a food processing family and are leaders in bringing quality and innovation to the industry. Truitt Bros. provides shelf-stable products for a wide variety of establishments, from restaurants and businesses to health care and retailers. Peter is a member of the Business Advisory Council of the Food Alliance and the Advisory Council for the State of Oregon Food Innovation Center. He was raised in rural Louisiana in the '50s and early '60s. He left for boarding school in 1962, began college at Cornell in 1964 and finished at Oregon State. He and his wife, Lynda, a Louisiana native, have been married 39 years. They have a daughter Kathleen, an actress who lives and works in New York City; and a son, Jordan, who is an agriculture major at Oregon State University.
