Tamara L. Boeck

Experience

Tamara Boeck represents diverse clients in the areas of construction law and litigation, and provides risk management advice relating to construction development projects from concept through dispute. She works with clients on a wide variety of projects, including commercial, residential, mixed use, as well as construction related aspects in solar, wind, geothermal, wastewater treatment and other facilities. In addition to counseling her clients on ways to avoid protracted litigation through thoughtful negotiations and effective contracts, she handles construction disputes through litigation and arbitration, as well as those encompassing toxic tort, product liability and catastrophic injuries.

Previously, Tami was a Shareholder for 8 years and Of Counsel with Bullivant Houser Bailey, PC in Sacramento, California. She was one of the founders of Bullivant's California office in 1992, and is the founder of Bullivant's Nevada office (1994). She served as Shareholder-in-Charge of Bullivant's Sacramento office (2006-2008).

  • Lead counsel for Top 10 condominium developer in multi-state Right to Repair claims and litigation.
  • Personal counsel for contractor in multi-million dollar custom home alleged defect litigation.
  • Currently drafting multi-company construction service agreements.
  • Currently drafting design-build-operate-finance contract for a multimillion-dollar wastewater treatment plant.
  • Assisting out-of-state entities on California licensing law compliance and contracting.
  • Representing entity in insurance dispute and litigation under land lease contracts.
  • Defending multi-million dollar owners in mechanics lien disputes, and "best practices" to mitigate and avoid further disputes.
  • Represented national product manufacturer in foreign corporation service/product lien dispute.
  • Drafted construction installation agreements for solar installers in California.
