ExperienceKory Christensen is a partner in Stoel Rives' Technology and Intellectual Property group. His practice emphasizes domestic and international patent procurement for clients in the computer and software industries. A substantial portion of Kory's practice is also dedicated to intellectual property counseling, due diligence, strategic patent analysis, intellectual property enforcement, and opinion letters regarding patent validity and infringement. His clients, which range from start-ups to public companies, include:
- Mindray Medical International Ltd. (NYSE-MR), China's largest medical device manufacturer and a leader in patient monitoring and ultrasound technology;
- Digeo, Inc., a venture of Paul G. Allen (co-founder of Microsoft) and maker of the Emmy Award-winning Moxi® Media Center; and
- RealNetworks, Inc. (NASD-RNWK), a worldwide leader in digital media products and services including the Rhapsody® digital music service.
Prior to joining Stoel Rives, Kory was a Shareholder (2001-2002) and associate (1999-2000) at Madson & Metcalf, Salt Lake City, Utah; and an associate (1997-1999) at Fenwick & West LLP, Palo Alto, California.
