Overview

Jacob Moss is a senior associate in Stoel Rives’ Real Estate group and advises clients on a range of complex real estate transactions. His experience includes working on sophisticated joint ventures, portfolio and individual asset acquisitions and dispositions, leasing transactions, and financings on behalf of both borrowers and lenders.

Jacob has represented a variety of clients, including private developers, private equity and hedge funds, public real estate companies, institutional lenders and REITs, high-net-worth individuals, and other real estate investors.

Before joining Stoel Rives, Jacob was an associate with a law firm in New York City.

  • Represented real estate development and management firm, as borrower, in connection with an approximately $32 million refinancing of an office property in Boca Raton, FL.
  • Represented prominent department store operator, as borrower, in connection with its restructuring of an approximately $850 million CMBS loan secured by a portfolio of retail properties.
  • Represented real estate investment and management firm, as lender, in connection with the origination of an approximately $90 million mezzanine construction loan secured by interests in a New York City development site.
  • Represented institutional investment firm in its joint venture in connection with an approximately $120 million acquisition of a hospitality property in Jersey City, NJ, including a concurrent assumption of CMBS debt secured by the property.
  • Represented institutional investment firm in its joint venture in connection with an approximately $40 million acquisition and financing of a hospitality property in Westchester County, NY.
  • Represented asset management firm in its joint venture in connection with an approximately $100 million financing of a mixed-use property in Nashville, TN.
  • Represented alternative investment firm, as subtenant, in its headquarters sublease of approximately 14,000 square feet of premium space in a Class A New York City office building.
  • Represented real estate investment and management firm, as landlord, in connection with the leasing of approximately 50,000 square feet of space in a Class A New York City office building to a foreign pension fund.
  • Represented energy systems company, as tenant, in the ground leasing of approximately seven acres of land in connection with the installation and operation of electric power storage systems in Travis County, TX.
