Stoel Rives congratulates its client Vestas Wind Systems A/S, the world’s leading wind turbine supplier, on its acquisition of Utopus Insights, Inc.
Utopus Insights, which is based in New York and was spun out of IBM’s Smarter Energy Research Institute, develops, sells and services energy analytics software to renewable energy producers, operators, manufacturers (OEMs), transmission and distribution utilities, and other energy companies. It has a highly experienced team with expertise in data science, software, utility operations, meteorology, and renewable and distributed energy, and currently offers five powerful software tools for the renewable energy industry.
Vestas is a global energy company dedicated to wind power. Based in Denmark, its core business is the development, manufacture, sale, service and maintenance of wind energy solutions.
