Attorney Chris Russell presented “Regulation Crowdfunding” at a CleanStart crowdfunding workshop on June 20. The workshop explored both equity and rewards-based methods of securing funding for a tech startup.
In his presentation, Russell addresses such areas as:
- which types of companies can use crowdfunding,
- how much money can a company raise,
- forms that must be filed and disclosures that must be made,
- who can invest, and
- how to conduct the offering.
