Attorney Chris Russell presented “Regulation Crowdfunding” at a CleanStart crowdfunding workshop on June 20. The workshop explored both equity and rewards-based methods of securing funding for a tech startup.

In his presentation, Russell addresses such areas as:

  • which types of companies can use crowdfunding,
  • how much money can a company raise,
  • forms that must be filed and disclosures that must be made,
  • who can invest, and
  • how to conduct the offering.
