Stoel Rives Partner Joel Mullin Inducted Into American College of Trial Lawyers

Portland, OR — The U.S. law firm of Stoel Rives LLP is pleased to announce that partner Joel Mullin has been inducted as a Fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers, one of the premier legal associations for the United States and Canada.  Mullin was inducted during the College’s 2014 Annual Meeting in London, England.

Membership in the College is by invitation only and limited to lawyers with a minimum of 15 years of litigation experience.  College membership cannot exceed one percent of the total lawyer population in any state or province.  Mullin joins Stoel Rives partner Chris Kitchel and senior counsel Gregory Mowe as current Fellows of the American College of Trial Lawyers.

Mullin focuses his practice on business and energy litigation.  His work includes managing disputes that develop post-closing in asset and stock purchase agreements; shareholder, partnership and LLC member disputes; and all types of contract disputes.  He has extensive trial, jury trial and arbitration experience and has argued appeals in both state and federal court.

Mullin was also selected by Best Lawyers® as Portland Litigation-Mergers & Acquisitions Law Lawyer of the Year for 2013 and 2015 and is listed in Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business and in Oregon Super Lawyers®.  He received his J.D. from Washington University and his B.A. with honors from the University of Chicago.

Mullin is admitted to the state bars of Oregon and Illinois, the U.S. District Courts for the District of Oregon, Northern District of California and Northern District of Illinois, and the Third, Eighth and Ninth Circuit Courts of Appeals.
