Precision Castparts Acquires Noranco for $560 Million

Portland, OR — Client Precision Castparts, a worldwide, diversified manufacturer of complex metal components and products, recently announced that is has agreed to acquire Noranco from MidOcean Partners and PSP Investments for $560 million.

Noranco, a supplier of complex machined and fabricated components for aero-engine, landing gear and airframe applications, offers PCC added capabilities including high-precision machining and sheet metal fabrication, processing, assembly and testing. The company is a key supplier to Honeywell, UTAS, Bombardier and Spirit, and its parts will be used in many of the next generation of commercial airliners.

Jason Brauser led the Stoel Rives deal team, with substantial assistance from Brant Norquist, Laurie Huotari, Jennifer Johnson, Lara Dittman, Terrence Ehlers, Peter Serrurier, Chris Heuer, Bethany Bacci, Devin McComb and CJ Voss.
