First Quarterly Idaho Business Insider Survey Suggests a Rosy Future Ahead

BOISE- The first quarterly Business Insider survey of Idaho business owners and executives suggests a short-term economic outlook that's “nothing short of rosy."

Made possible by financial support from Stoel Rives LLP, the survey polls local business owners, CEOs and other business leaders on the economy, business climate and other business issues relevant to Idaho's business community. The first quarterly survey focused on business outlook. Subsequent surveys are scheduled to focus on health costs, taxes and regulation. The Business Insider and The Idaho Statesman maintain full editorial control of the survey.

The Q1 2014 business outlook survey showed that fully half of respondents expect their companies' revenues to grow at least 10 percent this year. And the executives expect hiring to be only a little less robust. One-third expect to grow by less than 10 percent. Another third expect to surpass that.
