Portland, Ore. — Stoel Rives LLP is pleased to announce that the firm has been awarded a 2018 Construction Lawyers Society of America (CLSA) Law Firm Award and 2018 Diversity Law Institute (DLI) Law Firm Diversity Award. The awards were presented to firm partner and CLSA Fellow Tamara Boeck on September 6, 2018, at CLSA’s 2018 International Conference & Induction of Fellows.
The CLSA Law Firm Award recognizes North American law firms for high acumen and ability in construction law, construction arbitration, surety and/or other construction-related fields. Awards are based upon independent research by the society and input of CLSA Fellows who sit on the CLSA Law Firm Awards Committee. Results of other recognized award granting entities and associations are considered in the CLSA Law Firm Awards Committee process and methodology.
DLI Law Firm Diversity Awards are given annually to a select number of law firms and companies that have advanced, promoted or supported diversity and inclusion in the profession of law and share in the DLI and CLSA’s commitment to promoting a more diverse, equal and inclusive legal profession.
Tamara Boeck is the chair of Stoel Rives’ nationally recognized, multi-disciplinary construction and development legal team, which offers clients innovative and practical advice throughout the project development cycle, in areas including but not limited to land use issues, real estate transactions, construction procurement and contracting techniques, workforce issues, risk management, claims avoidance and claims resolution.
About CLSA: The CLSA is an invitation-only international honorary association composed of preeminent lawyers specializing in construction law and related fields. Fellowship is limited and selective, with lawyers being invited into Fellowship upon a proven record of excellence and accomplishment in construction law at both the trial and appellate levels.
